"RUSH HOUR"

Rush Hour

Forget plot, forget story, forget making sense. "Rush Hour" throws in every single predictable buddy cop cliché in the book, but so what? Didja expect "Hamlet"?

Ya got Chris Tucker, one of the funniest guys on the planet, doing his thing with that wacky voice of his. Then ya got Jackie Chan, the most amazing martial artist in cinema today (I must admit, I know very little about martial arts movies, but from what I DO know, Jackie is incredible).

The writers were Ross LaManna and Jim Kouf, but... whatever. It was directed by Brett Ratner ("Money Talks," which I never saw), and he knows what he's doing. The thing is, this movie belongs to Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.

This is a short review, but that's okay. What do I need to write? It's a typical buddy cop movie, but funnier! Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan will no doubt team up again.
