Morgan Freeman stars in this movie, and it's amazing how good an actor he is. He's a very understated actor who doesn't rely on overacting and being loud. He's a naturally gifted actor who walks through this movie, acts his ass off, and finishes up seeming as though he wasn't even trying. He's THAT good. Ashley Judd is the co-star of "Kiss the Girls," and although she's not in Freeman's league, she definitely holds her own. Her role is not an easy one, but she pulls it off beautifully.
"Kiss the Girls" was directed by Gary Fleder ("Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead"), and he enjoys moving the camera. He plays with it, but not to the point of distraction. He does a good job of pulling you into the feeling of running through the woods as tree branches slice up your skin along the way.
I didn't like the third act of this movie. I'm not one to spoil the ending, so I won't ruin it for you. I just didn't like the way it was revealed "whodunnit," as if motives are irrelevant. Still, the actual climax was pretty nifty. Watch it as a drama rather than some kind of a mystery. You'll enjoy it more.
